This album does not just embody sorrow in its most raw and emotional form, it does so much more than that. This album feels like a a dark December morning, where frost has grown on the ground and the air is piercingly cold. This album feels like a bleak, rainy day where all you do is lie in your bed and listen to the raindrops on the roof. This album is absolutely harrowing, heartbreaking, and it squeezes every tear out of you, yet it is unbelievably comforting. It acts as pillow of sound that you can rest your head on and let life slip away. It’s an escape. I have truly, never in my entire life, encountered an album where I adore every possible minor detail. The godly bass tone, the keyboards that appear from time to time, the intro track, the interlude, the whispers in the closing song, all of it makes the album. Dance of December Souls is the most emotional and atmospheric album I have ever listened to and probably the most I ever will listen to. Enjoy the album.

Aside from how good of an album this is, i can't get over the fact that he did it all by himself,... would like to imagine how it would have been recorded just like it sounds... Varg did it in solitude but surely would liked to have a company like himself..
